27 - A new era at Hylton Motorsports begin as James Hylton
Jr assumed the duties of crew chief and ARCA Series Team
Manager. "We were actually first in line for tech and had
a full crew onboard for the race" stated James Hylton "the car
performed great and we had a positive effort from the whole
team". The change was apparent on the track as well as
Hylton made a three second lap time improvement over his
last visit to the track in 2006. "I ran a 21.4 back
in 2006 and I got in the mid-18's this year" said Hylton "we
nailed the set-up during practice". Hylton placed 28th in
the race and moved to 29th in the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Driver
point standings.
