TOLEDO OH
(May 23) - Seventeen year old rookie Andrew Belmont piloted the James
Hylton Motorsports Ford Fusion to a 19th place finish in the Menards
200 ARCA Racing Series event on Sunday. Making only his fifth
career start, the Mooresville NC driver drove a consistent race and
avoided the accidents inherently associated with racing at the historic
half-mile Ohio oval.
The 200 lap event
was captured by Texan Chris Buescher in the David Ragen Ford with Joey
Coulter finishing .676 seconds behind. As a result of his
finish at Toledo, Belmont moved into 26th place in the 2010 ARCA Racing
Series driver points standings.
