DAYTONA BEACH FL (February
6) – Hylton Motorsports driver
Jill George of Cedar Falls, Iowa
was treated and released from
the Daytona International
Speedway Infield Care Center
following an incident on lap 25
of the Lucas Oil Slick Mist
200. She was making her
first appearance in an ARCA
Racing Series event and had
raced her Hylton Motorsports
Dodge Charger into the top 25.
George, a licensed chiropractor
and NCAA Basketball Referee,
spun in turn four of the high
banked superspeedway as she
tried to avoid the wreckage of
Jesse Smith’s Dodge Charger. “I
saw the tire blow on the 29
car,” stated a dejected George
“I steered to miss him and then
I found myself sliding upside
down across the track.”
George was credited with a 31st
place finishing position in the
ARCA Racing Series opening event
of the 2010 season. "I
am really looking forward to
racing again in the ARCA
Series” stated George “I really
had the time of my life this
week.”

DAYTONA BEACH FL
(February 5) - Rookie sensation
Jill George drove the Radon.com
Dodge Charger to a lap of 52.827
sec (170.367 mph) and will start
in 38th position for tomorrow's
Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200.
The race will mark George's
first start in the ARCA Racing
Series. She also becomes
the first female driver to
campaign a car for Hylton
Motorsports. "I am pumped"
stated an exuberant George
"tomorrow should be a blast."

(February 4) - Rookie driver
Jill George piloted her
Radon.com Dodge Charge to an
impressive 171.874 mph lap of
the fabled Daytona International
Speedway. George, a
Chiropractor from Newton Iowa,
is competing in her first ARCA
Racing Series event. "I'm
having a blast " stated an
enthusiastic George "the car is
running great and I am really
looking forward to competing
this weekend." Qualifying
for the Lucas Oil Slick Mist
200 is scheduled for 11:00
am EST on Thursday.

Throughout its history, Hylton
Motorsports has been home to a
number of stock car racing’s
finest drivers. In addition to
owner James Harvey Hylton, noted
drivers that have piloted the
number 48 include Cale
Yarborough, Al Holbert, Harry
Gant and Lennie Pond. For the
February 6th ARCA
Racing Series Lucas Oil Slick
Mist 200, the Hylton
Motorsports Dodge Charger will
be driven by promising newcomer
Jill George. George, a native of
Newton, Iowa, has been competing
in both IMCA and World of
Outlaws Late Model series events
for the past five years.
In the December 2009 ARCA
Daytona test session, George
acquired her ARCA Competitor’s
license as she drove an Andy
Hillenberg-prepared Toyota to a
fast lap of 50.674 sec (177.61
mph) lap during the Saturday
afternoon session. During
Speedweeks 2010, George will
pilot a 2008 Dodge Charger
prepared in Hylton’s Inman, S.C.
shop. The Hylton Chargers last
appearance was in April 2009 at
Talladega during the ARCA
250. The car ran in the
lead draft for most of the race
and finished in 15th position.
Hylton Motorsports has 216 ARCA
Racing Series starts with 1 win,
6 Top-Five, and 14 Top-Ten
finishes to its credit.
The ARCA race is televised Live
on SPEED on February 6th.
Pre-Race Ceremonies begin at 4
pm with the start of the Lucas
Oil Slick Mist 200 at 4:30 pm
