MEMPHIS TN (March 18) - Over the years Hylton Motorsports and Belmont Racing have enjoyed a close working relationship.  During the 2010 ARCA Racing Series, this relationship solidifies as brothers Andrew (above left) and Kyle (above right) Belmont pilot the Hylton Motorsports Ford at all selected events.  Andrew and Kyle will share driving duties at all series tracks of one mile or less in distance.  Andrew is 17 and has three ARCA Racing Series events to his credit along with starts in both quarter midgets and legends cars.   Kyle, who turns 16 on July 11th, is also a veteran of  both quarter midgets and legends cars.

The Belmonts join a storied group of drivers that have piloted the fabled 48 car.  The list of former drivers include Cale Yarborough, Harry Gant, Al Holbert, Lennie Pond and team owner James Hylton.  Hylton Motorsports would record the first of its 971 major touring series starts on January 23, 1966 at Riverside International Speedway's Motor Trend 500.  Driver James Hylton piloted the number 48 Dodge to a 21st place finish after transmission problems forced him to leave the race on lap 128 of the 185 lap event.  Road racing legend Dan Gurney won the race after leading all 185 laps in the Wood Brothers Ford.

Andrew Belmont will continue the storied Hylton Motorsports tradition at Salem Speedway on April 10th in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200.
