NASHVILLE TN (September 20, 2009) -  James Hylton drove his Radon.com Ford Taurus to a 26th place finish in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers Fall Classic 200 at Salem Speedway on Saturday night.  Justin Loftin captured the ARCA RE/MAX series event after holding off a last lap challenge by rookie driver Parker Kligerman.  Hylton's Ford Taurus experienced alternator problems and was forced to retire from the race after completing 16 laps on the historic 1/2 mile high-banked oval.  The alternator's voltage regular failed during practice, causing the alternator to deliver too much current to the battery.  "We unhooked the alternator belt and charged the battery" stated Hylton "but you can only run a battery so long with out an alternator".

"It was a great race" stated Hylton "ARCA always puts on a good show at Salem.  It's great to come here and run in front of all these wonderful fans."  The Kentuckiana Ford Dealers Fall Classic 200 was Hylton's seventh career appearance at Salem Speedway.

Hylton held onto his 15th place position in the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series driver points race.  Hylton trails 14th place Brad Smith by 95 points with two races remaining in the 2009 season.

Hylton Motorsports would like to thank Eddie Kinberger of Crestwood KY and Allen Redmond of Shelbyville KY for their assistance during the event.
