MEMPHIS TN (September 13,2009) - Ageless veteran James Hylton drove his Radon.com Ford Taurus to a 26th place finish in the South Jersey Building Trades 150 on Saturday afternoon.  The ARCA RE/MAX Series event was captured by Patrick Long of Thousand Oaks CA in the Cunningham Motorsports Dodge. Hylton completed 29 laps of the challenging 2.25 mile New Jersey Motorsports Park Thunderbolt Raceway road course before engine problems sidelined him for the day.  "A bolt holding the intake manifold broke on the car" stated Hylton "its unfortunate but things like that happen in racing.  I love the track and the fans are awesome up here in New Jersey.  I just wish I could have ran a few more laps because the car was handling beautifully.

The South Jersey Trades 150 was Hylton's 36th career road course start.  Hylton's road course resume includes 30 NASCAR Sprint Cup starts, 3 ARCA RE/MAX Starts, 2 NASCAR Grand American starts and 1 IMSA GT Series start. "I have really enjoyed driving the road courses over the years" stated Hylton "As a teenager I learned how to drive the road courses by running up and down the winding country roads around our farm."

Hylton remains in 15th place in the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX points chase, trailing 14th place Brad Smith by 65 points.  There are 3 races remaining on the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule.

A special thanks to Dirk Beatty for supplying the amazing race photographs.
